How To Install CCTV Camera And DVR

CCTV is a big part of daily life protection. The demand for CCTV cameras everywhere is increasing day by day. That is why we need to have an idea about CCTV Camera installation. Below are some ideas on CCTV installation.
  1. Important things for the installation of CCTV
Three important things are required for CCTV camera installation.
  • IP camera
  • Digital video recording system
  • Network video recording system
An IP camera is a type of digital video camera that receives control data and transmits image data over the Internet.
The DVR (digital video recorder) is mostly wired. You need special equipment to make it wireless.
NVR systems (network video recorders) run via either Ethernet cable or wireless.
  1. Plans to install CCTV camera
The most important aspect of installing a CCTV camera system is to select the right spots for camera and DVR to maximize camera coverage and reduce cable length (which in turn reduces the line loss that damages video quality). Inside the home, choose an angle in the room from which most of the entry points are visible. A power socket should also be nearby. For the exterior, choose spots that cover doors, window approaches, garages, etc. Choose spots above 10 feet so that it doesn't slip easily.
Place the camera unit at the desired location, create a guide mark for drilling. Drill holes and hammer into screw moldings. Then check the camera position and cover as much space as possible.
  1. Placing DVR
The DVR of CCTV is the place where the surveillance hard disk is. So all your CCTV recordings are inside a DVR. It is highly recommended to place the DVR in a locked jug so that no intruder spots the DVR even if it does not destroy the recorded videos. This is an important step to ensure you have bulletproof protection in your home.
  1. Operate the cable
Plan the path for all cables from the camera to the DVR unit. Use wire moldings to handle and secure the cable. Nail the cables neatly and place the Siam surveillance cable inside.
  1. Cable connection
The video cable is connected via a BNC port. Remove about 1.5 cm of outer wire casing that should now be lined. Slide the crimping barrel into the wire with a wide diameter toward the edge of the cable. Now remove the white insulator that covers the innermost wire. Now screw these exposed cables to the crimping barrel at the BNC port. This creates a secure connection. You connect the DVR output port to the screen where you want the video feed.

Turn on the camera and start getting power with the display and DVR. Setup the DVR according to the user manual provided by the DVR. Visit each camera's feed to make sure each camera is working properly and providing the desired viewing angle.
